Our EID Event

In celebration of Eid al- Adha, The Global Activism surprised a family with new beds and a celebratory dinner for Eid. For our first project, we wanted to help vulnerable families. One of my volunteers, Kin Haji Daud brought to our team's attention about a family that is struggling with their day to day living. The family lives in the capital city of Mogadishu, Somali in the district called Yaqshid. The 45 years old mother named Luul takes care of her children and mother that suffers from Alzheimer's. She told our team her husband died and struggles to take care of her family in the poverty-stricken city. Global Activism, brought each child a new bed and provided them with food in housing. we plan to extend our donation by allowing donors to sponsor this family on a one- time bias or monthly plan.
