GLOBAL ACTIVISM EFFORTS:
Many individuals, families, and communities suffer from a lack of access to nutritious food. During these unprecedented hard times, many people are suffering from unemployment and financial constraints. Global Activism aims to relieve those in hardship. Global Activism donated 100 meals to Food Bank Canada.
WHAT IS FOOD INSECURITY?
Global activism aims to tackle food insecurity. Household food insecurity is insecure access to food due to a lack of financial resources. Food insecurity harms individual physical, mental, and social health. It is estimated that 1 in 8 households in Canada suffer from food insecurity. This equates to 4.4 million people.

Thank you so much for your generosity. You opened your heart to help your neighbours when it was needed most.
Currently, food banks are struggling to support those in need in their communities as people face food insecurity, many for the first time. Your gift is important in ensuring Canadians have access to healthy food as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
